Josh Cohen
Josh Cohen is the President of the World Union of Jewish Students (WUJS), the global representative body for over 800,000 Jewish students. Josh has been actively involved in Jewish student leadership, advocacy, and community-building. He has experience across national and international Jewish organisations, representing Jewish students within both communal and political spaces.
Before leading WUJS, Josh was the Campaigns and Jewish Enrichment Officer at the Union of Jewish Students (UJS), where he worked closely with Jewish societies and other stakeholders across the UK and Ireland, supporting student communities and fighting antisemitism on campus.
As a student, Josh served on the National Scrutiny Council of the UK’s National Union of Students (NUS), holding it accountable after a damning investigation into institutional antisemitism. He also served as a Deputy to the Board of Deputies of British Jews and as President of his University Jewish Society. Josh is a Rabbi Sacks Fellow at the London School of Jewish Studies.

Shelly Wolkowicz
CEO
Shelly Wolkowicz is the CEO of the World Union of Jewish Students (WUJS). With an international MBA degree with honors from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem the University of Beijing, and SciencesPo, Paris, she has developed expertise in strategy, innovation, and finance (VCs). Throughout her academic journey, Shelly excelled in esteemed internships, including positions at the Israeli Ministry of Transportation's spokesperson division, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' strategic planning division, the strategic counseling project Nova, and a highly respected public diplomacy workshop.
Later, she gained valuable professional experience as a senior advisor for the Israeli permanent delegation at the OECD, where she represented Israel in the fields of science, technology, and innovation. Her focus areas included Cyber, AI, and blockchain, and she continued this innovative work during the pandemic. As the CEO of WUJS, Shelly guides the organization with a vision to empower and unite Jewish students worldwide, fostering leadership and making a global impact.
