Israel and Diaspora Seminar: Recap

From diving into the rich history of Jewish life at the ANU Museum 📚to exploring the complexities of international relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs 🏛️ — to say that this was an unforgettable experience is an understatement!

We paused for reflection at Hostages Square, where we were privileged enough to speak to families and loved ones, reminding us of the strength and resilience of the Jewish people.

And one of the highlights? Volunteering with Magen David Adom 🚑, where we got to roll up our sleeves and give back to the community in a truly meaningful way.

This seminar was not just about learning from Israel’s past and present, but also about connecting deeply with our shared heritage and understanding the crucial role the Diaspora plays in shaping our future.

Each moment was filled with inspiration, new friendships, and a deeper connection to our heritage. Can’t wait to share more of this amazing journey!

We were volunteering in a vineyard 🍇—it was an unforgettable experience to give back and reconnect with the land in such a meaningful way. Afterward, we celebrated Shabbat together, coming together as a community for a beautiful and peaceful evening of reflection and connection ✨🙏.

We then explored Israel’s innovation scene with a visit to the Start-Up Nation Central💡, seeing firsthand the creativity and drive that make Israel a global leader in tech.

We had the honor of meeting Yuli Ben Ami, the daughter of hostage Ohad Ben Ami, and hearing her powerful story of strength and hope. Her resilience left a lasting impact on us all.

And to top it all off, we helped pack 3 tons of food for those in need during another inspiring volunteering session, reminding us that the smallest acts of kindness can have the biggest impact 📦.

From thought-provoking discussions to hands-on experiences, we left more inspired and united than ever before! We couldn’t be more grateful for the memories, friendships, and powerful lessons from this seminar! ❤️
